GENDER EQUALITY AND NON-DISCRIMINATION

HERCO creates several initiatives and services to promote gender equality and non-discrimination through education and Awareness Campaigns also Conducts workshops, seminars, and community outreach programs to educate people about gender equality and the importance of non-discrimination also develop and distribute educational materials highlighting gender rights and available support resources.

Advocacy and Policy Work. Advocate for gender-sensitive policies and laws that promote equality and protect against discrimination by cooperating Partners with other organizations to lobby for changes in legislation and policies that hinder gender equality.

Provide counseling and support services for victims of gender-based violence and discrimination.

Offer legal assistance and representation to those facing gender discrimination.

Economic Empowerment: Implement programs that provide vocational training, entrepreneurship support, and financial literacy education for women and marginalized genders.

Facilitate access to micro-financing and other financial resources to empower economic independence. Ensure access to gender-sensitive healthcare, including reproductive health services and mental health support.

Conduct health awareness programs focusing on issues like maternal health, sexual health, and gender-specific health concerns.

HERCO significantly contribute to fostering an environment of gender equality and non-discrimination.
