HEALTH CARE

HERCO focusing on delivering healthcare services to underserved people at the right time.

HERCO significantly enhance the health and well-being of IDPs through the following healthcare initiatives: –

Mobile Health Clinics:

Deploy mobile health clinics to reach IDPs in remote or underserved areas, providing essential medical services and medications. Conduct regular health check-ups, immunizations, and screenings for common diseases.

Primary Healthcare Facilities: Establish or support primary healthcare centers within IDP camps or settlements to provide continuous and comprehensive care. Ensure these facilities are staffed with trained healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and midwives.

Maternal and Child Health Services: Offer maternal health services such as prenatal and postnatal care, safe delivery services, and family planning. Provide pediatric care, including vaccinations, growth monitoring, and treatment of childhood illnesses.

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS): Set up mental health support programs, including counseling services, support groups, and community-based psychosocial activities. Train healthcare workers to recognize and address mental health issues among IDPs.

Health Education and Promotion: Conduct health education campaigns to raise awareness about hygiene practices, disease prevention, and the importance of seeking medical care. Distribute informational materials and engage community health workers to educate IDPs.

Collaborations and Partnerships: Partner with local health authorities, international organizations, and NGOs to strengthen healthcare delivery and leverage resources.
